With the changing hemp laws across the country, we are committed to having our labels and website current with the status of hemp in different states. Some states prohibit CBD labeled products on the shelves, and we want our customers to be able to purchase in all states.
We publish the actual content of the various cannabinoids contained in each product. Many companies just give you a dose range, but you do not know the actual dose of CBD or if there are other compounds such as terpenes present.
Our hemp meal and pellets are grown using sustainable natural methods in a controlled environment in Colorado. Hemp is a bioaccumulator, which means it will extract toxins from the soil if they are present. So, the soil needs to be clean and free from chemical fertilizers, heavy metals and pesticides. Our supplier uses GMP practices in all stages of manufacture assuring a quality end product.
Extraction of the oils must be done without heat or toxic solvents. Our hemp is extracted using one of two methods, both leaving no trace of anything toxic. Food grade ethanol is used for ethanol extraction, then a proprietary method of drying and cooling the hemp leaves it completely free from any traces of ethanol.
Our Human line is sourced from USDA certified organic fields, one of the few in the country. Companies that claim their CBD is certified organic are not correct, currently the FDA only certifies the fields, not the product. Extraction is done using methods that produce only a clean, natural product.
All companies we partner with use third party testing to assure that there are no Contaminants, heavy metals, or anything other than pure, natural hemp with all if the CBD’s, Terpenes, and other ingredients intact. Pharmaceutical grade technology is used to assure consistent product quality, so you know you are getting exactly what the label says.
Full Spectrum versus Isolates
Our companies use specially bred hemp that is rich in phytocannabinoids and terpenes that work together synergistically to provide the maximum benefit. In hemp, the action of all the compounds is greater than that of one compound. Hemp naturally contains over 40 terpenes and about 5 types of cannabinoids, which are preserved with the extraction methods used. Isolates may have uses, but at the present time they are less well-defined.
